Toothbrush or Teethbrush?

I told Tommy to pick up his toothbrush and he said, "Daddy, I think you are wrong. It should be called teethbrush." I think he might be right.

perhaps the boy is right but this change would throw off our whole society hairbrush, eyeglasses, earmuffs, etc. stick with tradition
